They say that poems are for lovers,
is this true?
or are they for people
like me and you?
as if they know us or
could even compare to
the love in our hearts
that one day we might share,
so let them whisper and
say it all wrong
for i know deep in my heart
for you there is a song,
so sweet it is that angels from above
gave it to me to share our love,
so i kept it safe and in the right place
waiting for the right moment to appear
to tell you i love you my dear,
and i know that this seems all too fast,
but i want to make memories with you my dear
and not live in the past
to the one and only woman of my dreams,
i love you and miss you too.
