It's not in the Bible!
by: Anonymous

Hi everyone - you can't find this because it's not in the Bible! The end goal of our lives is to glorify God but being Holy and Blameless, and being happy or in love etc etc doesn't actually have anything to do with it. Psalm 51 was written after David committed adultery and murder, and was an admittance of guilt, and a repentance of his heart.

Nowhere in bible.
by: Anonymous

After conducting a thorough search of Psalms and an online search of the rest of the bible for this quote, it didn't show up in the bible.
It did turn up on Myspace quite a few times.

Where from is this Bible Verse?
by: Anonymous

I tried finding this too, and I couldn't, not among the Psalms and not in the Holy Bible. I'd love to know where it's from though, since it's very beautiful.

I liked this quote very much, but I tried to find it in the Bible, and Psalm 51 is something completely different. Would you please specify where exactly I can find this bible quote.

It doesn't say that. It says: Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me of my sin.
