Psalm 51:2.7

by Diana
(CA)

Never regret anything that once made you smile and never give up on something you can't go a day without thinking about.

~ Psalm 511:2.7

I think its pretty much self explanatory!

I have made many mistakes in my life that haven't made my life any easier, but I've never regretted those things most people consider mistakes, because they've made me smile. That's like saying "I regret falling in love" or "I regret being happy."

These lines may seem so simple. But there is a meaning to it that can only be understood if you are true to your heart. The inner meaning of this is just too hard to find and I don’t think I should be blabbering it out. Sutton In Home Senior Care

It's not in the Bible!
by: Anonymous

Hi everyone - you can't find this because it's not in the Bible! The end goal of our lives is to glorify God but being Holy and Blameless, and being happy or in love etc etc doesn't actually have anything to do with it. Psalm 51 was written after David committed adultery and murder, and was an admittance of guilt, and a repentance of his heart.

Nowhere in bible.

After conducting a thorough search of Psalms and an online search of the rest of the bible for this quote, it didn't show up in the bible.
It did turn up on Myspace quite a few times.

Where from is this Bible Verse?
by: Anonymous

I tried finding this too, and I couldn't, not among the Psalms and not in the Holy Bible. I'd love to know where it's from though, since it's very beautiful.

It doesn't say that. It says: Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me of my sin.
