Relationship Drama

I have a boyfriend and I really like him and he really likes me. But I like this other guy who I think likes me too. The thing is, they are best friends. My boyfriend doesn't really talk to me that much and me and the other guy flirt a lot.

I don't know what to do because the other guy is nice, caring, strong, cute, amazing and my boyfriend is romantic, sweet, SHY, loud with other people but quiet with me, and doesn't give me the time of day. What should I do? Please help me!

ask youself
by: hart

For me, you better ask yourself first. First and foremost, it is you who is confused. It is you who has a boyfriend and at the same time it is you who is flirting to your boyfriend's best friend.. I hope you will choose the most deserving guy. Just dont use your heart, use your mind as well..

You're welcome, Melaney! You are a sweet person, and you're right, it's not always about the other person's happiness. Life is too short, to spend any time in an unhappy relationship. I wish you lots of happiness...ALWAYS!

Thanks
by: Melaney

Thank you so much, Holly. You did help, but you made me realize why I like the other guy. My ex didn't really take it well, but isn't always about him, it's about my happiness too. Thank you so much.

Like I said, I really hope that I'm wrong about him. I just wanted you to think it through, and make sure of your decision before breaking up with somebody who likes you. However, you've made up your mind, and I wish you two lots of happiness together. I really do hope that I'm wrong, and that you'll be super happy together!

Flirt
by: Melaney

You know, he is a flirt, but more with me than anyone else. He waits for me at the end of the day. I was slipping on ice and he caught me when I fell, then this one girl I personally don't really like slipped and fell and he started laughing and said to me, "If you fall I fall."

I thought it was really cute and we get in trouble together in art, and I broke up with my boyfriend today. He almost started crying, but I realized I didn't feel bad. I think the other one likes me. And I really like him. But thank you.

If you have really and truly searched your heart and soul; (and you aren't acting too impulsively!) Just remember: 'the grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side of the fence' -- UNTIL you get to the other side of the fence!

EVERY human being has imperfections. However, we only see the imperfections after we've been with that person long enough.

Also remember this: if his best friend will flirt with you, chances are, he'll flirt with lots of other girls when you get with him. (So often guys want what they CAN'T HAVE!) Once they have you; they won't give you the time of day.

I really hope that I'm wrong -- I'm just trying to open your eyes to all of the possibilities. I hope that you really give it a lot of thought, and watch this other guy around all of the other girls too! Is he just a flirt? Good luck to you.

What If He Really Likes Me
by: melaney

But what if he really likes me and he is flirting back and he starts talking to me more than he talks to my boyfriend? We only have one class with each other, and it happens to be the one class that I have with my boyfriend.

What if i have never really been "in love" with my boyfriend? What if I think that I'm "in love" with his best friend? This is why it's so dramatic. I can't flirt with my boyfriend when he doesnt give me the time of day.

I think that you need to ask yourself if, 'you would like for your boyfriend to do to you (with your best friend,) what you're thinking about doing with his best friend?! BE HONEST! If the answer is, 'No', then don't do it!

Instead of spending your time 'flirting' with his best friend, spend your time flirting with your boyfriend, and fall back in love with HIM again!

Remember the saying, "what goes around comes around." So, be careful before you act on impulsive feelings.

That's just my opinion -- you have to do what feels right for YOU! I sincerely wish you the very best!

"No Drama"
by: Penny

Ask yourself...if your boyfriend's BEST friend wasn't in the picture and your boyfriend Didn't GIVE YOU THE TIME OF DAY while being romantic, sweet and shy, what would you do?

You should never ever go with your boyfriend's friend, BEST FRIEND or not. What you need to do is take some time to be alone while you learn to appreciate and love yourself. This way, when the right person comes along you will recognize him and not settle for anyone who isn't willing to treat you the way you need and want.

The only drama is the drama you allow!
