Sad Good-Bye

Today is the day you turned and walked away
I watched as you vanished into the horizon
There weren't any words I could say
To make you want to stay
My heart feels this is our last, sad good-bye
And I know you don't even care
So, I won't be shedding any tears
But, one day you'll regret me being gone
You'll be left with the grief after losing me
And, you'll be the one left with all the blame
I guess I could call it heartbreak,
But it feels more like homicide
Even though losing you is killing me inside
I'll try and be strong
While dealing with this sad good-bye.
