Science, Where is the Love?

Science often forgets that it is the child of philosophy. Modern science instead has become the disobedient child of philosophy by requiring proof for such things as moral objectivity by its own methods in logic alone. Can science now prove any philosophy as fictitious if absent empirical data to back it up? If so, then philosophy has birthed a God greater than itself and humanity!
