Coming from first hand experience, I'd have to say NO, NO, NO, oh and NO! My husband played those games with me too. He also had a bunch of crap going on in life that was all wrong, he left me and the kids because he also didn't want to drag us down with him!
However, I found out through mutual friends that he was sleeping around and then he tried to come back! He left for his own SELFISH reasons, knowing that I would have stayed with him and helped him work things out!
I gave him his chance, then another and another (a few too many), but it kept ending the same way! Now we are no longer together and I have the kids in a totally different state and life is GOOD!
