"Amazing things can happen, but teams have to work." Our Parker School Bulls team is good, we just don't recognize our full potential. See we were faced off against the Big Dawgs from Kona. And their best player was Kenan. I had to guard him. He had handles, but they were limited in creativity. This is middle school basketball. I had 10 points in the end. But in this game, I experienced my heart beat stopping in one of the most hectic moments. We were up 26-25, with 15 sec. left. They dribbled down with a quick lay-up, it was then 27-26. Then Zac passed the ball to me, I dribbled down, 5 on the clock, passed to Cole, Cole for the three at 1 sec. At that second, my heart stopped beating, the buzzer went, buzzzzzzzzzzzzz! The ball went in and I realized in our glorious win, "This, is basketball." |
