Strong Emo

Strong Emo
I loved you once;
I told you that day how I felt
And then you said,"I never will love you."
You walked away and left me there,
Not turning back, you didn't see
The pain you caused to me.
You broke my heart into pieces, but
I hoped that you would change if I gave you time.
But now I see, I was a fool.
You never have and never will
When you found out how I felt
You left me in the dark.
I thought you would come and pull me out of this sea of darkness,
But I was a fool.
You saw me there, heard my cries for help,
And all you did was watch.
Now I have embraced the darkness you left me in.
I loved you once, it's true,
But I was fool.
Now to you I say," Thank you."
After you left, I became stronger through the pain.
Though self-inflicted pain was involved
And scars formed on my wrists,
I do not mind them.
For these scars let everyone know what I have been through.
The pain I felt emotionally and mentally,
Have been revealed to the world.
They remind me that I was once in fact a fool
And that my past is real and it cannot be denied.
For on my wrist is the truth
And to say otherwise, would be a lie...
But the pain I felt
Left me painless.
I tell you this fool's story is true.
This fool was me,
But now I am no longer a fool.
Now I am emo.
Now, I am no longer angry,
Instead, I am thankful that boy helped turn a fool
Into a strong emo.
