you know that you can't hurry love
you just gotta wait,
no one in their right mind believes in prince charming,
Or cinderella
they're not waiting at the end of the rainbow either
somewhere, there's a love for everybody
but not if your ass is stuck up, and scared to venture out
and love for fear of getting hurt.
that's your past, so don't dwell on it
or die living it.
get your ass up and live a little
don't wait on don juan, romeo, or jody
to wake your dead ass up
and send it back into remission,
that's the problem now
everybody's afraid to love,
scared of hurt and pain
silly ass, you have no physical pain
it's all in your brain
nobody cut you, so where's the pain?
he broke your heart but i don't see you dying from it
who cares anyway?
you can cry, sulk, and die
as you watch the days go by
and the very life in you just drains away
while the person that left you lives on
ain't that a bitch?
suffer not unto the sufferer and
waste not this precious life, love and well-being
that god gave you.
for he also gave you a free will and a mind of your own,
so USE IT!
