I sit and wait for the tears to stop streaming
I sit and wait for you to save me from drowning in my own worthless misery
I sit in this chair and wait for you to rescue me
I now know that sitting and waiting got me no where
It didn't save me
It didn't make you come to me
It didn't do me any good
You saved me and then killed me
You came and then you left
You did me lots of good then you took it all back
You uttered those few words and time stopped for a moment
I felt my heart jump out my chest just for the moment
Now you're leaving just like everyone else does...
