The heart knows best

I was dating this guy, who was a year younger than me. And we had got into a fight because some other girl texted his phone calling him "baby" and I flipped out. He told me it didn't matter, that she was just a girl that liked him. Well I came to find out they had been talking about breaking up with me for her. So I went out and found me another guy. He had just got out of a relationship, and told me to take all the time I need to break up with my present boyfriend. That he would support me.

Well, me and the present boyfriend stayed together 2 more weeks. When I realized that I was completely in love with the guy that I had been talking to, Ii had to break it off. Needless to say it was tough, I was in love with 2 total different guys. But I think breaking up with the present boyfriend made me realize, true love does exist. And although now when I see my ex boyfriend, it kills me that I hurt him. We both just smile and wave, and sometimes we even have a conversation. Because we both realized we wanted different things in life.
