The Real Youby Charlotte
I didn't say that I wanted to feel this,
I didn't say anything to you,
And maybe I should pay for that, but I don't care Because all I ever think about now is me and you.
You always laugh and smile for your friends,
And because you do your person blends,
But I see past all that,
I see the real you,
She's beautiful too.
But you don't let her out,
You don't ever let her show,
And when you let her out to me,
I'm the luckiest kid in the world
Because I get to see the REAL you.
The real you is so beautiful.
Note: This is a poem that I wrote about a year ago about an emo kid who wouldn't let it out or wear her emo clothes in front of her friends.
