time to let go.

My ex and I have been on and off for two years. We still talk every night and hang out like nothing's different. I can't trust myself to date him again because he's broken my heart numerous times and I can't live with this. So I wrote a poem that I use to remind me when he tells me something that upsets me.

I know the stars will never shine the same.
And every night I try and find that one
I wished on,
When I asked that we'd be together forever.
But there's a cloudy sky
And there's nothing left,
but to say good-bye.
