Too good to be true

There was this guy in my class, he was popular, funny, kind, sweet and everything a girl could ever hope for in a guy. But he had a girlfriend. For the months that we've known each other, he's been dating the same girl.T he problem was that I had really liked him. Over the holidays we'd talk and just enjoy each others company. Then the question sprang up, he asked if I liked him. I told him that I did and I waited days for him to say that he liked me back.

Well just recently he broke up with his girlfriend and he told me that he really liked me. But I was still waiting for him to ask me out. Today I saw him and his ex girl friend talking and being flirty. I was hurt on the inside but I Hid my feelings. I feel horrible because I should've known that he was too good to be true... Just like the rest of them.
