Walking in the Past

One day, a young girl was sitting in her room crying.
Her dad told her to close her eyes and soon things would be better.
"Honey I love you and this is for the best"
Daddy, what are you going to do?
Take a deep breath and count to 10.
Ten seconds later, her dad was dead,
laying on the floor.
She tried not to cry,
Dialed "911."
They took her dad away.
The poor girl never got to say good bye.
