Is it like darkness; The absence of light? Is it the absence of sadness? Either way, Happiness hides in memories. The ones we have lived, The ones we are living now, And the ones we have yet to create. For me, The happiest memories Are the ones That have the absence of sadness. The ones where I feel Life, Or anything, Isn't out to get me. Where life is going my way. Not its own. The path to happiness lies in taking simple steps |
