whats this mean?

I like this boy who may like me but I'm not certain. But here are the circumstances of it. I was at a school thing and I noticed the boy I've been crushing on kept staring at me and when I'd look over at him he'd turn his head as if nothing had happened. Its not like this happened one time only at the school event but it too happened at another school event and in the hallway and in a classroom. Do you think he may like me back but isn't saying anything because he doesn't know me that well and because we've never talked. I'd appreciate it very much to find out the answer i'm a little bit of a ditz so I don't know if this is a sign? What do you think this means? Should I talk to him?
