What's worse?

My friends always ask me, "Whats worse? Love lost or never experiencing love at all?" My answer: love lost. They always disagree with me saying that never experiencing love is worse because you live your life not knowing how wonderful it can be. You'll never experience the joy of knowing that there's that one person that loves you for you. The one person who knows you and all your moods. The one that knows when to hold your hand and give you hug when you need. The one who will stay up with you until you finally leave them hanging because you fell asleep. You'll never know how a kiss can make the world around you fall away or how that one glance your way, with the small smile meant "i love you." But that's just it. The very reason why love lost is worse for me. Because imagine all of those wonderful things...maybe the only thing you live for...gone. Forever and it's never coming back. You'll be left with all the pain but if you never experienced it, sure you wouldn't know all those great things, but then you would never have to feel that heartbreak.

So now I ask you... what's worse, love lost or never experiencing it at all?
