One of my best friends wrote a song similar to your poem, It was called Faceless Girl. He would always dream of the girl he wanted to love one day, but in the dream her face was never clear.
He never really had any relationships, and was starting to lose hope of ever finding her, or of being in love, but I always told him that he would, because I believe that there is someone for everyone and we just have to take opportunities to find them.
About a year ago, he met a girl, and they started dating, and they just got engaged this month. So he did find her after all. Hope one day you find your mate and at last you will know his name! :) xoxo
