Why Do Guys Act Like Love is a Game?

When it comes to love, why do guy act like love is a game when it really isn't. Is it because they don't like to show their emotions or what ... well I know sometime it is because we]re young (talking about 7th through 10th grade), but come on, if the girl can take it seriously, why can't they?
