You never cared.

You brought me into this world as someone to love.
The first impression you had of me was like a beautiful dove.
You said I took your breath away.
Until my teen years it was all okay.
What happened may I ask?

I'm a teen who went through that stage in life,
Where I've felt the need to use a knife.
You stopped caring about me and called me names,
And you wonder why you're the one everyone blames.
Why can't you understand me like you used to?

You accused me of your depression.
When really I agree you just wanted attention.
You blamed me for everything and said it's my fault.
It's clear to see what you did to me was assault.
And you wonder why I'm scared forever?

I help myself through this and found people who care.
It was so loving to know they would always be there.
I find someone I can finally connect with,
You destroyed what I wanted like pushing me off a cliff.
Why are you doing this to me?

Now there's just one thing I have left to say,
You made my life so dull and gray.
Just leave me the hell alone and go away!
