You Said You Loved Me For the first time I realized, I don't want to dream about you. We dated for eight amazing months and I've loved you for a year and a half now. You're up on your feet and flirting with so many new girls. I haven't even heard the name of some. For once you said you want to settle down with a girl. What's terrible is knowing she is just like me, only closer to you, and that's why she has you. You said you loved her because she was nice, sang, and played piano. I joined the chorus because I thought you would love me more. I wrote a whole book full of letters you will never read. I guess I'll have to learn the piano now. I used to close my eyes and hope that I would dream of you. Now, I go to sleep and take a deep breath because even in my dreams, I get rejected by you. My dreams have become nightmares, and it's haunting me even when my eyes are wide open. Whenever I'm around you, I almost feel more lonely. I'd do anything just to hear you say my name with a smile. My eyes are stinging. They have been burning, swollen for two days because I can't stop crying. My nose is raw from wiping it so many times. I'm 13 and I'm waiting for you to save me.
